“But I’m not a teacher”
No problem.   At Jolt, we’re looking for experienced professionals willing to share their knowledge and who are open to learning new speaking skills.  We believe the best teachers are people who walk the walk.
I’ve given talks to crowds before, are Jolt talks any different?
Yes. Jolts are delivered to an intimate group of students, through live online video.  We call it ‘conversational learning’.  Research shows the most effective (and fun!) learning is done through conversation and not monologue.  We’ll teach you the tools of the trade — how to share your knowledge through conversation.
Can anyone become a Jolter?
No. We want to ensure our students learn practical skills from doers.  To uphold our high quality standards, our applicants go through a rigorous screening process.  We’re looking for professionals who are experts in their fields and are passionate about what they do.  Our speaker development team will do the rest and set you up for success.
Can I deliver Jolts from anywhere?
Yup.  As long as you have a good webcam and a reliable internet connection — you can give your talks from  a beach in Bali or from your bedroom in boxers (but please be sure wear a shirt...).
If you’re really passionate about a topic, giving a talk about it is a catharsis, and I get that with Jolt.
